Penang ... lai lai lai

Yeah!! We went on a short holiday. Getting a hotel room was so hard. Most of the hotels are fully book. Cos its school holidays season. After looking high and low for a decent hotel, I manage to get a booking in Vistana Hotel. Nearby attraction would be Nasi Kandar Kayu (hehehehe, Shida's favourite) and the Penang Bridge. Well, at least it is easier for us to go back to my hometown and have the famous Tan Kee roasted duck and rojak and cendol with pulut. Yum yum.

The condition of the hotel room was quite good. Anyways, Vistana is under YTL Group's hotel chain. I'm so glad that it is properly maintained unlike some other hotels we have stayed in with leaking/ non-functioning air conditions, smelly rooms and etc. Some pictures of Jon in the hotel room.

("Mummy..what is Kayu Nasi Kandar's number ah?")

("OK... let me see if they can accept an order from a 2 year-old.")

("Allo thambi, I want to place an order for 1 roti tisu with extra honey, 1 nasi kandar ayam madu and 1 pasembor.")

We didn't actually ordered anything to the room. We went to Kayu twice cos we were too tired to go all the way to Gurney drive. I should have taken some pictures of the food we had. No time cos we were so hungry. All I want to do was to eat when the food came. Yum yum. Kayu's pasembor is nothing to shout about. I miss my laksa. I miss my pasembor.

Oh ya, did I mention about the Swedish Massage I had in Vistana. It was not that cheap la (RM95 for 1.5 hours) but it was so good. I really need a good massage after being a "maid" for awhile.

Next... Jon's first swimming experience.

2 thots counted:

Slumber jon, order Nasi kandar for auntie...Latest breaking news! I'm going to penang oso after my midterm exam...kekeke...mau kirim apa? roti tisu? laksa? laksa shack kan ada...
