Tried another cake recipe from this blog http://mamafami.fotopages.com/?entry=1253338. I was actually looking forward to bake a cake with my oven, but this recipe requires me to steam the cake instead. Steam for 2 hours! I was quite worried especially with the raising price in oil and gas. But Mdm Blogger said it was "worth the wait", so I'll just give it a try. The verdict? It was really worth the wait. Not bad for a starter like me (first time baking a chocolate cake, ok). Everyone loves it. Jon loves it too.

One thing I have to remember next time, to leave some space between the cake and the foil so that it can raise without cramping it. And to take nicer pictures too. Sorry, a bit blur cos my eyes was a bit blur too. Finish baking a bit late. Was kinda tired handling my dad's mixer without the mixer stand. But that oldie has been with this family so easily more than 15 years!
