Speech problem?

Jon is not a chatty person. But sometimes when he is in the mood, he can talk non-stop with actions like he is telling a story. And sometimes, he can be so quiet for hours, minding his own business. I try to initiate a conversation with him whenever I find him too quiet for my comfort. That is one of the main reason I started sending him to nursery hoping that his would catch up with his speech capability when he is surrounded by his peers. After 1 month in school, there are some positive improvements. Guess, I am being anxious. I feel dishearten having the thought that I might cause him to have this problem. Come to think of it, I was talking more to the maid (giving her instructions, correcting her) than to Jon.

Plan to get him assessed by specialist soon. The first person that came to my head was a friend who happens to be in this line. Since uni days, I find him being a super patient and super caring person. Guess when dealing with people with hearing problems requires that. His dedication and commitment towards his work and patients surpasses my expectations. Just an sms to him got him calling me back. New terms popping in front of my eyes. Audiologist. Speech Pathologist. I hope it is not a major problem and can be corrected easily.

Ya la, just bring him for a check at this early stage kan. We don't want him to suffer later, so we need to act. Lets pray it's just minor problem. There is always solution to any problem right. Don't worry too much.
