Fried Rice - What's your preference?

Lately, I find it easier to prepare some fried rice for Jon just in case he got sick of soup everyday. Or whenever I find it hard to feed him his usual meal. I try to think of various ways to get Jon eating something heavy during lunch/ dinner and if I cook dishes with plain rice, he might not like it as well. He must not see bits of chicken or fish or vege when he eats. Usually I'll hide those inside the rice. So, I find it easier to fry some rice which I just throw everything in and Jon gets to eat other stuffs too instead of just plain rice.

This is fried rice ikan bilis. Basically, it has ikan bilis, carrot, butter head lettuce and light soya sauce. Jon likes it (he eats the ikan bilis, carrot and lettuce) and Hubby likes it too. Whew! (wiping sweat). I cooked something edible.

The remainder after everyone had their portion.

Today, I'm trying something new (for me at least). Bought some lap cheong from Jusco the other day and ta da... fried rice lap cheong. The main ingredients lap cheong, chicken meat (diced and marinated with salt, oyster sauce and light soya sauce), mixed vege, kangkung (so happen I have some in the fridge), butter head lettuce and light soya sauce for taste.

Will wait for the tasting session by the king and prince of the house tonight. Keeping my fingers cross.

2 thots counted:

wah..looks delicious. so,hows the food tasting session? amende lap cheong tu?
