Closing Chapter 1

Jon's school conducts 2 major assessments in a year. The year end assessment is here. We went to meet the teacher and get his "report" book (of course Jon has no idea he was being assessed). Overall, we got positive feedback from the teacher. She enjoyed teaching Jon and according to her, whenever Jon and a few other kids sees the teacher, they will go "Teacher, story please, story please". Well, Jon loves stories and I try to read him at least 1 story before bedtime. She said that Jon will start doing his work even before she could explain to him on what to be done. This, I believe. Jon is able to recognise words and he got used to doing workbook activities because we bought him a lot of workbooks. So, whenever he saw "Circle" or "Match" or "Count", he knows what to do. Anyways, the activities always revolves around the same thing. lol.

I'm not sure what was his overall results (blur mother at work here) but from the assessments sheets that were given to us, Jon manage to get A- for all. I'll confirm again with the teachers on Monday. I was too happy to see his assessments result till I forgot to ask about his overall performance. Overjoyed. We are so proud of you regardless what results you've got!! You have done well darling.

It has been a long journey since he started school almost a year ago. We are thankful that we took that step in sending him to school early. He didn't get sick like what others said. There were ups and downs. A lot of people may say conflicting things. But we followed our instincts and the results turned out to be to our benefits. Ada la kadang kala terbabas jugak ikut komen diorang. Nih dijadikan ajaran.
