Jon's 2nd Day
The school's principle informed me that I could leave Jon in school if I want to. So I did. I left after 5 mins... he was settling down fine. The principle assured me that they will call if there is any problems and the kindy is just 2 minutes drive away. As soon as he reached (school), he went to look for the ball he was playing with yesterday (making himself at home). Good la. I don't think he cried cos the teachers didn't mention it. Daddy was quite worried as well. Surely we don't want him to feel like he is pressured to go to school. Rule #1 No pressure.
At home, I make sure the phone is nearby in case someone calls. But it didn't. Did some house work to keep myself occupied. Then it was time to get Jon back from school. It was a nice morning. And knowing that Jon is learning something at school (better than sitting at home watching cartoon whole morning, huh).
When I reached school to pick Jon up, he was still playing. Proudly, he showed me some of the apparatus that they use. I lingered around for awhile, then its time to go back.
