Another sleeping stunt

I've been trying very hard to get Jon sleep a bit early at night so that he will be able to wake up in time for school the next morning. Nowadays, he only sleeps when I sleep which is like 12 to 1 am. Not good for a growing kid. Well... I know... but what can I do if he refuses to sleep early. So, my solution is to cut his afternoon nap. I'll let him nap for 1 to 1.5 hours (Jon can sometimes nap for 3 hours in the afternoon!), then I wake him up hoping that he will feel tired by 10-ish at night.

I tried to do that to him during his afternoon nap. Switch on his Playhouse Dinney Channel. Softly try to wake him up and carry him to the sofa so that he'll be in a sitting position. And finally, he opened his eyes fixing them on the programme that was on. Rolie Olie Polie, I think. After that, I went back to my workstation to continue with some work. Not many minutes later, my mom called me and asked me to check out what my dear son is doing. This is what he was doing...

("Mmmm... soft and warm. Just like inside mummy's tummy")

Jon actually walked to the mattress, snucked in between the folded mattress and went back to sleep. Thank God that his legs is not inside the mattress as well. Otherwise, I will not be able to find him. Well, I woke him up after that. At night, we manage to get him to sleep before 10 pm! Yay, mission accomplished.

shida: Yup. He likes to play with his pacifier. He will turn it around every few minutes. Dunno why. Hahahaha

ira & ira sr: like the parents la. Can sleep anywhere, anytime. One thing good is that he won't have sleeping problem. He will sleep anywhere, anytime. Even in the stroller. That is why having a stroller is still very important for him cos he will tend to sleep when we are outside and no one has the strength to carry him when he sleeps.
