Latest haul
Jon's latest haul... no la. It's mine but for Jon. Serious stuffs ahead. Things that I buy for Jon has progressed from toys to clothes to educational toys and now books. Well, I still buy the other stuffs but I just can't stop buying books and colour pencils for him. Children books can be as expensive as our books especially those imported ones. Recently, Jon came back with a book order form (in his bag) from Scholastics book club. With discounts and paperback versions, this mean cheaper but quality books. Before this, I bought some hard board ones and they cost a bomb! Not letting this chance pass, I studied the list, mark, mark and mark all the books that I want to get for Jon. Inclusive of books that will be useful for his sister/ brother next time... books for younger kids... hehehehe. Hubby was wondering what this crazy woman is doing getting 14 book & 1 set of books (1 set = 12 books) at one go. I felt that I have to grab this opportunity else I have to restrict my purchases of books next time cos they will be quite expensive for me to buy them elsewhere. Here's some of the books....

Jon already has a few favourites but I'm sure he will enjoy reading the others as he progresses. This means homework for me and Hubby as well. We have to start reading to him and teaching him. Oh ya, need to get some decent cabinets to keep his books. Shopping shopping shopping.... *skip skip skip*

oh yeah,i love buyin books + color pencils(crayons/marker) for mia.and ur right,books these days r not cheap.BUT tina,if u go to borders,sometimes they do promo for kids book,kinda cheap la jugak.specially those hardcover type.i pun suka.

Ira: I've not really check out Borders but I like to buy from http://www.1childrenbooks.com/ cos the books has been reviewed and quite good. Nanti will go and check it out at Borders. Bila ada promo from Jon's school again I'll let you know. This time tak brani sgt nak ajak cos my first time and dun know how's the quality. But the quality of the paperbacks are pretty good with colours and all.

wahhhh...byk nya books for jon.i wish danish love books that much!nowadays, whenever i try to read book/do activity book with danish, adek will also want to participate...koyak n eating the books! *sigh*
hahaha. I think adek wants to participate too. Mmg susah ek nak suruh dia sit quietly and focus. Tp try training gak la. One day he will like to read too.
