Feeding my boy
We have problem feeding Jon since he was born. He never finishes his milk. And when he was a few months old, he had a mild eczema outbreak (on the face and head). That was when I banned most food that will likely to trigger this problem ie. citrus based fruits, seafood, nuts, etc. So, Jon's diet was kinda limited to rice, vegetables, chicken, pork, fish and some other type that is not in the banned family of food.
I still have problem feeding him. I partly blame myself for restricting his diet when he was young and now he just stick to the stuffs that he is familiar with. I don't totally regret my actions but I wish he would be more flexible when it comes to food. Nowadays, I will cook a soup dish for him using the slow cooker. Some of the soup varieties would be old cucumber with red dates, corn, white carrot, lotus root with peanuts and ABC soup. He loves soup and nowadays eat my fried rice too.
Sometimes I'll try something new like fried salmon (actually taste real nice after seasoning it with salt and frying with garlic). Jon ate a bit but refuse the fish after a few mouthful. No worries, he takes some time to get use to new food. I'll just keep trying new stuffs with him.

Didn't know our kids reacts the same way but I love to see Ashley enjoying her food. Ya I know, peanuts was a big no-no until only recently that I started introducing it to Jon. So far ok la. But still on the cautious side and won't give it him too often.
i think peanut is a no-no, leh. But I am not sure. you can google on it. My Ashley is like Jon. Picky, and with eczema to boot. sigh..don't we have all the luck!
